Terms of use
Last updated 31 October 2026. Urlet is operated by SIMIONESCU IOAN-ALEXANDRU PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ (CUI 51830246, trade register no. F2025017945005), registered office B-dul Bucureștii Noi 136, ground floor, ap. 5, Sector 1, București, Romania. Contact: hello@wolfvalleyhq.com.
What the service is
Urlet checks the security of a domain from the outside and explains the results in plain language. It is an information service. It is not a penetration test, an audit or a guarantee that a site is secure, and a scan can miss problems.
Who may scan what
You may scan a domain only if you own it or have the owner's permission. By ticking the box before a free scan, or by adding a domain, you state that this is the case. Scanning someone else's domain without permission is not allowed and we may suspend the account.
What a scan sends
24 of the 32 checks read only what any visitor or public data source can see. The other 8 send more than a visitor would (other ports, secret-file paths, folders, deprecated TLS versions, subdomains, crawler-style requests, TRACE and path traversal). They run only on a domain whose ownership you have proven with a DNS TXT record or a file on the site, and we re-check that proof regularly. Our requests identify themselves with the User-Agent "UrletScanner/1.0".
Your responsibilities
Verify only domains you control. Make sure your hosting provider allows security scanning of your site. You are responsible for what you do with the results and for fixing issues that are found.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Limits per plan (domains, scan frequency, history) are listed on the plans page.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect loss such as lost profit or data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will say so on this page. Romanian law applies; consumers keep the protections of the law of the country where they live.
